State-of-the-ART Italian firm paints itself into eSync’s growing canvas

Silicon Valley – December 3, 2025 – The eSync Alliance is continuing an impressive year of growth with the appointment of digital cockpit specialist ART SpA as a new member. The Italian company represents the latest in a long line of new members as the Alliance continues to gain global traction.

This momentum follows the Alliance’s significant expansion into the Indian market, demonstrating the growing worldwide adoption of standardized OTA solutions as the automotive industry accelerates its transition to software-defined vehicles.

ART membership in the eSync Alliance will enable the company to contribute to the development of eSync-compliant capabilities for digital cockpit solutions. By working collaboratively on standardized approaches, ART aims to ensure that various systems, dashboards and platforms, such as e-Cockpit systems or telematics control units from multiple vendors can seamlessly communicate within a unified OTA ecosystem. This standardization reduces development times, minimizes integration complexity, and provides automakers with greater flexibility in sourcing OTA-ready components from multiple suppliers.

The eSync Alliance is a non-profit trade association that brings together automakers, Tier-1 suppliers, and technology providers to define and advance a standardized, multi-company approach for automotive OTA updates and diagnostic data exchange. With eSync-compliant solutions already deployed in millions of vehicles worldwide, the Alliance provides the only standardized bi-directional OTA pipeline for the automotive industry, enabling seamless software updates and data collection across all vehicle systems.

“After an exceptional year of growth, adding new members across multiple continents and achieving significant geographical expansion, it’s clear that the message around standardization is resonating throughout the industry, commented Mike Gardner, Executive Director of the eSync Alliance.

“ART’s recognized excellence in on-board innovation and deep experience in developing integrated cockpit systems for the automotive, railway, and aerospace industries brings valuable expertise to our community at exactly the right time. The momentum we’re seeing demonstrates that automakers and suppliers alike understand that standardized, interoperable OTA solutions are essential to the future of software-defined vehicles. As more industry leaders like ART join our ecosystem, we’re building the critical mass needed to truly transform how the automotive industry approaches connectivity and software updates.”

“Joining the eSync Alliance represents a natural evolution of our mission to be enthusiastic promoters of software-defined change in the automotive industry,” said Andra Narciso, Chief Technology Officer at ART. “As vehicles become increasingly software-defined, the need for standardized, secure, and interoperable OTA infrastructure has never been more critical. Our expertise in developing advanced digital cockpits, telematics systems, and on-board innovation platforms positions us to contribute meaningfully to the Alliance’s vision while delivering even greater value to our OEM partners.”

The addition of ART expands the eSync Alliance’s ecosystem of automotive suppliers working collaboratively to provide interoperable, secure, and scalable OTA solutions. By adopting eSync standards,

ART will help automakers reduce OTA development cycles from years to months, while ensuring robust cybersecurity, multi-vendor interoperability, and the ability to update every electronic control unit.
