eSync Alliance welcomes Renesas as a new member, marking growing semiconductor industry engagement in connected vehicle standards 

Silicon Valley, CA, March 18, 2025 – The eSync Alliance has announced that a leading semiconductor solution provider, Renesas Electronics Corporation, has joined the global eSync Alliance, becoming the latest sector specialist to take advantage of opportunities surrounding software defined vehicles (SDVs). 

As a global leader in microcontrollers, microprocessors, analog, power and connectivity devices, Renesas’ membership strengthens the Alliance’s mission to standardize over-the-air (OTA) updates and data gathering for connected vehicles.
